Mocafe™ Matcha Green Tea Latte Wins Big at the 2006 World Tea Expo
April, 2006 (Aliso Viejo, CA) - Mocafe™ professional coffee & tea bar products, manufactured by Innovative Beverage Concepts, Inc, has been awarded BEST ICED TEA in the freestyle ice tea shake off completion amongst numerous tea competitors during the recent World Tea Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"We are very pleased to have won this top award against such formidable competition for our iced Matcha green tea latte," says Innovative Beverage Concepts, Inc’s Chief Brands Officer, Richard Principale. “We introduced the coffee industry to this drink at the SCAA in Miami 5 years ago, but it was too early."
"With Starbucks introducing it’s own version of matcha lattes on their menus, the timing could not be better for the popularity of our award winning latte," explains Principale. “We only use real shade grown Japanese matcha and it makes all the difference".
